After graduating in Computer Engineering, Jaideep worked in IT consulting before moving on to advertising, followed by stints in ad film making. He then became an independent communication consultant for brands and organisations, before becoming a full time screenwriter and lyricist.

Jaideep has worked as Screenwriter and Lyricist on several blockbusters, including Chak De India, Aaja Nachle, Khosla ka Ghosla and Company. He worked as a lyricist for Salaam Namaste, Bluffmaster and Bollywood Hollywood and has produced several music albums.. Jaideep was also the Creative Producer of the highly successful Khosla ka Ghosla.
