Interactive Teamworks , a privately held consulting and creative services organization focused on electronic media and entertainment. The Company designs and produces cutting-edge research, strategic plans, business plans, marketing campaigns, and electronic media-based products and services. Mr. Silverman is an internationally prominent media strategist and entrepreneur with more than 35 years' experience in the front ranks of the U.S. entertainment and communications fields. He has participated in the acquisition, production, distribution, and marketing of content for motion picture theaters, commercial and public broadcasting, cable and pay-television, home video, satellites, interactive media, and the Internet. He has been actively engaged with India for more than a decade and has represented the US entertainment industry initiatives for The Tata Group's Tata Elxsi, Ltd. since 2002. He is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs ["TiE"], has written often for The India Journal , and is developing a major international motion picture to be shot in India . Mr. Silverman has also produced, moderated, and spoken at India-related media conferences around the globe. A partial list of his added clients and professional affiliations includes Ameritech, The Archbishop of Los Angeles, BET, The State of California, Columbia Pictures, Dow Jones, General Electric, Harvard, Liberty Media, The Tribune Company, UCLA, and Warner Bros. Pictures. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the not-for-profit Caritas Telecommunications, former Chairman of the Board of the Tierra del Sol Foundation, a Trustee of the Monrovia Schools Foundation, a Digital Media Advisor to both Pasadena City College and to Mt. Sierra College , and a sponsor of the 2006 Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles. In June, 2007 Mr. Silverman signed an agreement with the government of the state of Maharashtra , India , with the goal of developing a world-class new motion picture studio and theme park on the grounds of Bombay 's famed Film City studio complex. |
