Michelle Crames


Michelle Crames is an entrepreneur. She co-founded Lean Forward Media LLC, a ground-breaking interactive entertainment company.  Michelle developed, financed and produced a ground-breaking animated interactive movie CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE (r): THE ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN featuring William H Macy, Frankie Muniz, and Felicity Huffman, which received NAPPA, iParenting Media and DVDA Brilliance Awards, and was endorsed by Dove Foundation, KIDS FIRST!, and Common Sense Media.

In 2004, Michelle opened the NASDAQ, won Venture Bowl, and was named by Forbes Magazine the Future Capitalist of the Year. Previously, Michelle worked for companies including Warner Bros., The Walt Disney Studios, ContentFilm, and McKinsey & Company. Michelle has a B.S. dual degree in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering, and Hotel Management from Cornell University , and received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2003.  At Harvard, Michelle was awarded the Jasse
Award by the Entrepreneurship faculty as the graduating student most exemplifying entrepreneurship and leadership skills.  

Recently, Michelle was elected to the Film Advisory Board of Directors, and served on the committee for the 2007 HBSASC Leadership Awards honoring Alan Horn and Sherry Lansing. Michelle and her company have been featured in national publications including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the LA Times, and Harvard Magazine. In her spare time, she enjoys performing as an amateur stand-up comic and traveling.
