Mira Advani Honeycutt
Los Angeles resident, Mira Advani-Honeycutt operated her Beverly Hills P.R. firm for ten years. From representing her "lifestyle clients" she switched to writing about them. Focusing on arts & entertainment, food & wine and fashion & beauty, her articles have appeared in The Hollywood Reporter, Los Angeles Times, USA Today, San Jose Mercury News and over a dozen international publications from Dubai to Beijing . She has also written extensively on Indian filmmakers in Hollywood for magazines in India and Southeast Asia.
In 1998, Advani-Honeycutt curated and produced FilmIndia. The first Indian film festival celebrating the regional cinema of India was sponsored by the UCLA Film & Television Archive. She served on the jury of the 2005 Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles.
Advani-Honeycutt is also the creator and producer of Asia Pacific Fusion Food & Wine Festival staged at the 20 th Century Fox Studios as a benefit for Asia Society Southern California Center.
In 1996, Advani-Honeycutt was appointed by Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan to serve as the chairperson for Los Angeles-Mumbai Sister City Affiliation.
Advani-Honeycutt is the author of the newly released book " California 's Central Coast - The Ultimate Winery Guide," published by Chronicled Books.
