Vivek C. Burman

Vivek C. Burman is the Chairman of Dabur India Limited and the senior-most representative of the Burman family in the company. He is the great-grandson of Dr. S.K. Burman, the founder of Dabur.

Career

Vivek C. Burman joined Dabur in 1954 after completing his graduation in Business Administration from the USA. In 1986 he was appointed Managing Director of Dabur In 1998 he took over as Chairman of the Company

• Under Vivek C. Burman's leadership, Dabur has grown and evolved as a multi-crore business house with a diverse product portfolio. And a marketing network that traverses the whole of India and more than 50 countries across the world.
• He has been responsible for the phenomenal market penetration of the company, with Dabur metamorphosing under his leadership from a North Indian company to an all India marketing force. These successes have been matched with the opening up of operations in London
• Vivek C. Burman is on the Board of Directors of Several companies including Dabur Foods Ltd., Dabur Ayurvbedic Specialities Ltd., Dabur Research Foundation, Dabur Investocorp. And Aviva.
• Vivek C. Burman is a member of various Chambers of Commerce, of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and of the Indo-French Forum. He is also the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Nicaragua in India.
• He occupies 25th position according to Forbes Billionaire List-The top 40 Indians.
